    The Correlation Between Family Support with Self Care Management of The Elderly with Sleep Disorders A Correlation Study in Gembongan, Gedeg, Mojokerto

    Elderly at risk of sleep disorders caused by the decline in physical and mental abilities. One of sleep disorder management is self care management. Family support can help the elderly carry out self care management of sleep disorders. Family support is given in the form of emotional, appreciation, instrumental, and information support. This study was aimed to analyze the relationship between family support with self-care management of the elderly with sleep disorders. Design used in this study was a correlational study. The population was 26 elderly with sleep disorder listed at Elderly Posyandu Gembongan, Gedeg, Mojokerto. Respondents are 25 selected through a purposive sampling. The independent variable was family support that obtained through questionnaire. The dependent variable was self-care management of the elderly with sleep disorders that obtained through structured questionnaire form. Data were analyzed by Spearman's Rho with a significance level of α< 0.05. The results of the correlation test showed p = 0.018 and r = 0.469. So, the results showed that there is a correlation between family support with self-care management of the elderly with sleep disorders. It can be concluded that the correlation between the two variables is strong enough. Family support effect on self-care management of the elderly with sleep disorders. Therefore, more research is needed to involving the family in improving self-care management of the elderly with sleep disorders.     DAMPAK PENERAPAN POLA PELATIHAN HARNESS MENGGUNAKAN METODE INTERVAL DAN REPETISI TERHADAP PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN SPEED

    Daya tahan kekuatan merupakan faktor yang sangat penting dalam mencapai prestasi, meskipun banyak aktivitas olahraga lebih memerlukan SAQ (Speed, Agilitas dan Quickness), keseimbangan dan yang lainnya, tetapi faktor tersebut harus dikombinasikan dengan kekuatan agar diperoleh hasil yang baik. Oleh karena kekuatan merupakan komponen fisik yang mendasar yang sangat diperlukan dalam pertandingan maupun perlombaan. Membicarakan tentang kekuatan tak akan jauh dari kerja otot. Maka dalam penelitian ini penulis meneliti tentang motode latihan yang dapat meningkatkan daya tahan kekuatan otot, yaitu metode latihan interval dan metode latihan repetisi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kebermaknaan pengaruh latihan metode interval dan repetisi terhadap peningkatan speed dengan menggunakan pola pelatihan harness. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah atlet UKM futsal puteri UPI, sedangkan sampel yang dipergunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 20 orang atlet futsal putri, yang terbagi dalam dua kelompok yaitu; kelompok metode interval dan kelompok metode repetisi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen. Setelah melaksanakan latihan selama 6 minggu dengan frekuensi 2 kali perminggu diperoleh hasil bahwa terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan dari metode interval dan repetisi dengan menggunakan pola pelatihan harness terhadap speed, dari hasil perbandingan diperoleh bahwa terdapat perbedaan peningkatan yang signifikan dari metode interval dan repetisi terhadap speed. Namun jika dilihat dari rata-rata tes akhir, metode interval memberikan peningkatan yang lebih baik dibandingkan metode repetisi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini penulis merekomendasikan agar metode interval dan repetisi dipergunakan sebagai salah satu varian untuk meningkatkan meningkatkan kondisi fisik

    Dalam upaya meningkatkan minat kunjung Mahasiswa FPOK UPI ke Perpustakaan UPI, perpustakaan perlu menyediakan koleksi dan layanan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan pemustaka. Koleksi adalah tujuan utama pemustaka datang ke perpustakaan. Layanan sebagai jembatan sampainya koleksi ke tangan pemustaka dengan mudah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan jawaban dari rumusan hubungan koleksi dan layanan dengan minat kunjung Mahasiswa FPOK UPI ke Perpustakaan UPI. Selain itu, untuk mengetahui masing-masing tingkat hubungan koleksi dengan minat kunjung dan layanan dengan minat kunjung Mahasiswa FPOK UPI ke Perpustakaan UPI. Secara teoritis dan praktis harapannya penelitian ini dapat bermanfaat bagi Perpustakaan UPI maupun Program Studi Perpustakaan dan Ilmu Informasi. Teknik yang digunakan untuk pengambilan sampel adalah teknik probability sampling. Perolehan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket. Data penelitian diolah menggunakan teknik analisis data statistik inferensial parametric. Uji korelasional menggunakan rumus korelasi product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan koleksi dan layanan dengan minat kunjung Mahasiswa FPOK UPI di Perpustakaan UPI dengan tingkat interval sangat kuat. Selain itu, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa layanan memiliki hubungan lebih kuat jika dibandingkan dengan koleksi terhadap minat kunjung mahasiswa FPOK UPI ke Perpustakaan UPI. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan oleh perpustakaan yakni meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas layanan perpustakaan.     Games in Learning Value Clarification Techniques: An Alternative for Affective Learning in Elementary Schools

    The purpose of this study was to describe how games can be used to learn value clarification techniques (VCT). Affective learning is centered on cognitive learning and so it is not often applied in class. Affective learning is usually only carried out by teachers in schools, particularly in elementary schools, if there are problems with student attitudes, and only advice and rules are given. This is based on the idea that unwanted attitudes can be prevented. Affective learning is needed in the classroom as a way to manage attitudes, and it can involve interesting games to be more embedded in student’s learning. Using VCT in affective learning differs from cognitive or psychomotor learning because of its focus on values. The implementation of VCT using games is done by providing a stimulus in the form of a moral dilemma that students must solve.     Pengembangan Bahan Ajar Komik Ipa Dengan Penanaman Nilai Budai Pada Siswa Kelas Iv Sekolah Dasar

    Masalah yang sering dihadapi pada anak sekolah dasar dalam pembelajaran ilmu pengetahuan alam adalah penggunaan media pembelajaran yang kurang menarik bagi siswa dan siswa kesulitan memahami materi yang disajikan dalam bahan ajar IPA yang digunakan di sekolah. Media yang ada sifatnya yang terbatas membuat siswa malas belajar.Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan gambaran karakteristik, kevalidan, keefektifan, dan kepraktisan produk bahan ajar komik yang dikembangkan dalam pembelajaran IPA materi Bagian-bagian tumbuhan di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Subjek uji coba pada penelitian pengembangan ini adalah kelas IV SDN Beji 03 dengan peserta didik sejumlah 21 siswa. Desain uji coba produk yang digunakan dalam pengembangan bahan ajar komik IPA adalah PretestPosttest Control Group Design. Jenis penelitian pengembangan ini dengan menggunakan model Borg and Gall. Perangkat yang dikembangkan meliputi: Silabus, Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran, Komik Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam, dan Tes Prestasi Belajar Materi Bagian-bagian tumbuhan. Data diperoleh melalui lembar pengamatan dan tes prestasi belajar materi bagian-bagian tumbuhan. Hasilnya diolah secara deskriptif, menggunakan uji ketuntasan, uji banding dan uji peningkatan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran. Hasil uji tebatas menunjukkan persentase skor respon siswa 84,6%, rata-rata respon guru 3,5 skor pengamatan kemampuan guru mengelola pembelajaran pertemuan I dan II 2,5 dan 3,0 sehingga termasuk kategori praktis. Implementasi perangkat ini menghasilkan (1)  nilai rata-rata tes prestasi belajar kelas eksperimen 81,52 dari Kriteria ketuntasan minimal 75, (2)  rata-rata nilai kelas eksperimen yaitu 81,52 lebih baik dari rata-rata nilai kelas kontrol sebesar 56,80 (3) uji peningkatan tes prestasi belajar kelas eksperimen yaitu 0,565 dan peningkatan kelas kontrol 0,404. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar komik IPA layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran, selain itu penerapan bahan ajar komik IPA dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar peserta didik. Kata Kunci : bahan ajar komik IPA, nilai-nilai budai, prestasi belajar, valid, praktis, efektif

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas bahan ajar cerita bergambar bermuatan religius terhadap prestasi belajar. Subjek penelitian ini siswa kelas 1 SDN Beji 03 yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Bahan ajar yang digunakan adalah buku bergambar bermuatan nilai religius. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimental dengan desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre-eksperiment one group pre-test-postest. Soal tes berbentuk pilihan ganda dengan jumlah 20 soal. Analisis data menggunakan Uji Gain Ternomalisasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan jumlah nilai pretes dari seluruh siswa adalah 1890 dan  jumlah nilai postes dari seluruh siswa adalah 2480. Hasil tersebut diolah menggunakan rumus N-Gain dan mencapai nilai 0,53 dengan interpretasi “Sedang”, dengan hasil ini maka terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar siswa dengan menggunakan bahan ajar cerita bergambar bermuatan nilai religius. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar bermuatan nilai religius efektif terhadap prestasi belajar siswa kelas 1 Sekolah Dasar

    Reading is one of language skill that should be mastered by the students. In reading the text students can find knowledge, information thatwho never known before. The students‟ reading Comprehension at SMP Gajah Mada Bandar Lampung is stilllow especially in reading narrative text. To solve this problem, the researcher applied team word-webbing. Team word-webbing is one of good techniques that can be implemented by the researcher. The objective of this research was to know whether there was significant influence of using team word-webbing technique towards students‟ reading comprehension on narrative text at the eighth grade of SMP Gajah Mada Bandar Lampung. In this research, the researcher used quantitative research. The researcher used quasi experimental design with pre test and post test. The sample was taken from two classes, VIII A and VIII C which consisted of 55 students. The treatments were held in 3 meetings, 2 x 40 minutes for each. The population of this research was the eighth grade of SMP Gajah Mada Bandar Lampung. In collecting the data, the researcher used instruments in the form of multiple choice test which were try out. After administering pre test and post test, the researcher analyzed the data which were normal distribution and homogeneous by using SPSS to compute independent sample t-test. From the data analysis computed by using SPSS, it was obtained that Sig.= 0.002 and α = 0.05. It meansthat Ha is accepted because Sig ≤α = 0.002<α 0.05. In other words, there was influence of using TeamWord-Webbing Technique towards students‟ reading comprehension on narrative text at the eighth grade at SMP GajahMada Bandar Lampung

The subject of this research was the second year of Islamic Senior High School Muhammadiyah Pekanbaru, while the object of this study was the relationship between students’ creativity in learning English and their achievement. The research had been conducted to the second year students of Islamic Senior High School Muhammadiyah Pekanbaru. The total number of population was 103 students and the writer took 30 students as sample of this research by using random sampling. In collecting data, the writer used questionnaire to find out the students’ creativity and documentation to identify the students’ English achievement. There were three formulations of the problems presented in this research, they are as follows: 1) How is the students’ creativity in learning English at the second year of Islamic senior high school Muhammadiyah Pekanbaru? 2) How is the students’ English achievement at the second year of Islamic senior high school Muhammadiyah Pekanbaru? 3) Is there any significant correlation between students’ creativity and their English achievement at the second year of Islamic senior high school Muhammadiyah Pekanbaru? In analyzing the data, the writer used SPSS version 16.00. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that the mean score of students’ creativity is 56.7 and the mean score of English achievement is 62.5. The Pearson correlation of this research is 0.660, means that there is a significant correlation between the students’ creativity in learning English and their achievement at the second year of Islamic Senior High School Muhammadiyah Pekanbaru
